Supafly’s Broken Neck
One of my buddies from #windows2000 on Efnet had an accident at the beach Saturday April 18th. While splish-spashing around, he went for a shallow dive into the water to get used to the temperature and ended up catching a sand bar with his chin, which snapped his neck to his chin instantly and shattered his C5 bone.
He spent a couple nights in the hospital, and is now at home wearing a halo. All this sounded fine to me (considering the situation), but then I found out he didn’t have any insurance to cover the cost of his hospital stays or the surgery he might have to have performed in the future. Major sux
